Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity 24GB GPU Review

Equipped with a more refined IceStorm 2.0 cooling system

Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity 24GB GPU Review 1 3090, GeForce, GPU, Nvidia, RTX, RTX 3090, Trinity, ZOTAC

Nvidia’s RTX 3090 announcement has been one of the most exciting announcements in several generations. The xx90 naming scheme has previously been used only for cards built around dual GPU configurations, such as the GTX 690 which consisted of two Kepler-based GTX 680 cores on the same board.  Nvidia’s RTX 3090 is only a single GPU, but with more than 10,000 CUDA cores and 24GB of GDDR6X memory, it’s about as powerful as two cards. Nvidia has positioned the RTX 3090 as a replacement for the Titan family of cards, rather than as the GeForce gaming flagship of this generation (which belongs to the RTX 3080). The RTX 3090 platform is built to be equally great at work AND play. Zotac takes this monster platform and gives it the new Zotac Trinity treatment which is the new IceStorm 2.0 cooling system with triple fans and an improved heat pipe layout to ‘Bring Down the Mercury”.

PC Test Bench would like to thank Zotac for loaning us the new RTX 3090 Trinity to test out!

Zotac’s take on the RTX 3090 Trinity:
