Final Thoughts and Conclusion
AMD’s Ryzen 9 5900X is a marvel of engineering. While the Ryzen 9 5900X isn’t the highest offering in the family, the 5900X provides the ideal mix of performance, speed, and cost for many users. Gaming performance is similar to Intel’s current lineup, something that hasn’t happened in more than a decade, and workstation performance puts many High-End Desk-Top platforms in the recent past to shame. Depending on your particular needs, it may well be worth the upgrade even from the former Ryzen 9 3900X and anything older is a no-brainer. If for some crazy reason you need even more… well, there is still the Ryzen 9 5950X to consider.
