The memory performance of the Ryzen 9 5900X is quite impressive. While Intel still provides a lower latency monolithic architecture, AMD has closed the gap notably.com

L1 and L2 cache bandwidth are quite impressive, but the L3 cache doesn’t look as good in this benchmark. With up to 8 cores capable of accessing L3, real-world performance has jumped, even if this looks to the contrary.
